I am so thankful for the peace and contentment I have had as final preparations have been under way! I also have to say it has been heart warming to see how my friends have gathered around to encourage me, support me, and say goodbye. It is sad how often we take things for granted until we are given a reason to look around at how much we have for which to be grateful.
It is eye opening to sit back and look at each of your encounters throughout the week and think about what you would say or do if it was your last time with these people for 9 months. I wonder how to be more loving and genuine to those around me, and I'm oh so thankful for more and more opportunities to grow.
