What if we didn't see all of the "in between" "day to day" stuff as inconsequential. What if instead of the seemingly mundane aspects of life clouding our view, we were able to see things from the perspective of 20 years down the road. The everyday decisions we make about what to say, what to do, and where to go would take on a whole new significance. Maybe, we wouldn't give up hope or doubt our purpose.
The Father doesn't allow us to look ahead, but he does give us the past as a picture of his faithfulness. We can trust that the work he begins he will complete though we may never see the end. So no matter how tiny a seed may seem, we can truly rejoice over it.
